Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 58

जातस्तदा महाबाहुस्त्रैलोक्यक्षयकारकः । तारकस्यानुगा दैत्या अजेया बलवत्तराः

jātastadā mahābāhustrailokyakṣayakārakaḥ | tārakasyānugā daityā ajeyā balavattarāḥ

Alors s’éleva un être aux bras puissants, cause de ruine pour les trois mondes. Les Daitya qui suivaient Tāraka étaient invincibles, plus forts encore qu’auparavant.
