विनाम्य चापं हि तथा च तारकः स योद्धुकामः प्रविवेश सेनाम् । यथा झषो वै प्रविवेश सागरं तथा ह्यसौ दैत्यवरो महात्मा
vināmya cāpaṃ hi tathā ca tārakaḥ sa yoddhukāmaḥ praviveśa senām | yathā jhaṣo vai praviveśa sāgaraṃ tathā hyasau daityavaro mahātmā
Alors Tāraka, courbant son arc et avide de combattre, entra dans l’armée; tel un grand poisson qui pénètre l’océan, ainsi s’avança ce daitya éminent, l’âme magnanime.
