पातालाच्च समायातास्तारकस्योपजीविनः । चेरुरंगबलोपेता हन्तुकामाः सुरान्रणे

pātālācca samāyātāstārakasyopajīvinaḥ | ceruraṃgabalopetā hantukāmāḥ surānraṇe

Et depuis Pātāla vinrent ceux qui vivaient sous la protection de Tāraka. Doués d’une grande force physique, ils allaient et venaient, résolus à tuer les dieux au combat.
