Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 81

ब्रह्मापि तं न जानाति मस्तकं परमेष्ठिनः । विष्णुर्गतो हि पातालं न दृष्टो हि तथैव च

brahmāpi taṃ na jānāti mastakaṃ parameṣṭhinaḥ | viṣṇurgato hi pātālaṃ na dṛṣṭo hi tathaiva ca

Même Brahmā ne connaît pas son sommet, la couronne même du Créateur suprême. Et Viṣṇu, descendu jusqu’à Pātāla, n’y a pas davantage contemplé sa limite.
