Type: kshetra
Scene: A confrontational moment: a woman (contextually Devī or a leading companion) challenges the baṭu, questioning his purpose among women and accusing him of deva-slander; the baṭu stands composed, hinting at hidden divinity.
Deva-nindā is rejected in Purāṇic dharma; the devotee protects sacred honor even amid confusion.
Kedāra-kṣetra in the Kedārakhaṇḍa’s narrative frame.
No ritual instruction; it implicitly upholds the dharmic rule of avoiding slander of the Divine.
