Parameśvara (Śiva) in baṭu-rūpa
Tirtha: Kedāra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Parameśvara in baṭu guise speaks a string of names (Kubera, Vāyu, Agni) while Devī stands in austerity; her sakhīs listen, forming a semicircle; the Himalayan backdrop emphasizes stillness and spiritual heat (tapas).
Even exalted cosmic powers are secondary to the Supreme; steadfast tapas becomes the setting for divine revelation.
Kedāra-kṣetra—the scene of Śivā’s austerities and Śiva’s testing discourse.
Tapas (austerity) is referenced as the practice being undertaken; no specific vrata details are given in this verse.
