देवा ऊचुः । त्वया सृष्टमिदं सर्वं जगद्देव चराचरम् । त्रातुमर्हसि देवान्नस्त्वदन्यो नोपपद्यते
devā ūcuḥ | tvayā sṛṣṭamidaṃ sarvaṃ jagaddeva carācaram | trātumarhasi devānnastvadanyo nopapadyate
Les dieux dirent : « Ô Seigneur, cet univers tout entier, le mobile comme l’immobile, a été créé par toi. Tu dois nous protéger, nous les devas, car nul autre que toi n’en est digne. »
