व्यास उवाच । श्रुणु वत्स ब्रवीम्येतत्पुरा प्रोक्तं च नंदिना । अगस्त्यं पृच्छमानं च येन सर्वं श्रुतं शुक

vyāsa uvāca | śruṇu vatsa bravīmyetatpurā proktaṃ ca naṃdinā | agastyaṃ pṛcchamānaṃ ca yena sarvaṃ śrutaṃ śuka

Vyāsa dit : Écoute, mon enfant bien-aimé ; je vais te dire ce que Nandin enseigna jadis, lorsque Agastya l’interrogea. Par cet enseignement, ô Śuka, tout fut entendu et compris.
