तदा वयं घातयामस्तारकं सह बांधवैः । अचलोहं विपक्षश्च किं कार्यं करवाणि व
tadā vayaṃ ghātayāmastārakaṃ saha bāṃdhavaiḥ | acalohaṃ vipakṣaśca kiṃ kāryaṃ karavāṇi va
« Si nous avions réellement l’appui requis, nous frapperions Tāraka avec toute sa parenté. Mais moi, je suis une montagne—immobile—et, en cette affaire, comme rangé du côté adverse ; quelle action puis-je donc accomplir en vérité ? »
