Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating to sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Kedāra / Kedāranātha
Type: kshetra
Listener: dvijāḥ / assembled listeners
Scene: A Himalayan shrine of Kedāranātha; a pilgrim offers a single flower, fruit, and a copper lota of water to a liṅga, while the snowy peaks glow behind; Śiva’s presence is suggested as radiant nearness.
Even simple offerings, when joined with deep devotion, lead to intimate nearness to Śiva.
Kedāra-kṣetra (Kedārakhaṇḍa) is the devotional backdrop, presenting Śiva’s presence as the supreme fruit.
Śiva-arcana with basic upacāras—puṣpa (flower), phala (fruit), and toya (water).
