Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 94

इत्युक्त्वा तां स्वपत्नीं स प्रेषयामास चाश्रमम् । ततो देवाग्रतो विप्रः समाधिमगमत्तदा

ityuktvā tāṃ svapatnīṃ sa preṣayāmāsa cāśramam | tato devāgrato vipraḥ samādhimagamattadā

Après avoir ainsi parlé à son épouse, il la renvoya à l’āśrama. Puis, en présence des dieux, le brāhmane entra en samādhi.
