विश्वरूपो हतो देव देवानां कार्यसिद्धये । एक एव तदा ब्रह्मन्पापिष्ठोऽहं कृतः सुरैः
viśvarūpo hato deva devānāṃ kāryasiddhaye | eka eva tadā brahmanpāpiṣṭho'haṃ kṛtaḥ suraiḥ
Ô Dieu, Viśvarūpa fut mis à mort pour l’accomplissement de l’œuvre des dieux ; pourtant, ô Brahmane, en ce temps-là les dieux me firent, moi seul, porter le plus lourd des péchés.
