एवमंशाश्च त्यायाश्चत्वारः कल्पिताः सुरैः । निवासमकरोत्सद्यस्तेषुतेषु द्विजोत्तमाः

evamaṃśāśca tyāyāścatvāraḥ kalpitāḥ suraiḥ | nivāsamakarotsadyasteṣuteṣu dvijottamāḥ

Ainsi, les dieux établirent quatre parts et leurs attributions correspondantes ; et aussitôt, ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés, ils prirent demeure dans ces séjours respectifs.
