स बुद्ध्या च चिरं स्मृत्वा ब्राह्मणाश्चतपस्विनः । अवाह्याश्च भवंत्यस्मादात्मानं वाहयाम्यहम्

sa buddhyā ca ciraṃ smṛtvā brāhmaṇāścatapasvinaḥ | avāhyāśca bhavaṃtyasmādātmānaṃ vāhayāmyaham

Après une longue réflexion, il conclut : «Les brahmanes —hommes d’austérité— sont vraiment “ceux qu’on ne doit pas faire tirer”. Ainsi, je me ferai porter (par eux).»
