तथेति मत्वा राजासौ नहुषः काममोहितः । विमृश्य परया बुद्ध्या अवाह्यं किं प्रशस्यते

tatheti matvā rājāsau nahuṣaḥ kāmamohitaḥ | vimṛśya parayā buddhyā avāhyaṃ kiṃ praśasyate

Pensant : «Qu’il en soit ainsi», le roi Nahūṣa —égaré par le désir— réfléchit avec une vive intelligence : «Quel est donc ce véhicule “qu’on ne doit pas tirer” que l’on vante ?»
