तस्मान्न योग्यो प्रहस्य चोवाच बृहस्पतिमकल्पणषम् । असौ न परिपूर्णो हि यज्ञैः शक्रासने स्थितः । अवाह्यवाहनेनैव अत्रागत्य लभेत माम्

tasmānna yogyo prahasya covāca bṛhaspatimakalpaṇaṣam | asau na paripūrṇo hi yajñaiḥ śakrāsane sthitaḥ | avāhyavāhanenaiva atrāgatya labheta mām

«C’est pourquoi il n’est pas digne», dit-elle en souriant à Bṛhaspati. «Bien qu’il siège sur le trône de Śakra, il n’est pas accompli dans la valeur des sacrifices. Qu’il vienne ici seulement sur un véhicule “qu’on ne doit pas atteler” ; alors il pourra m’obtenir.»
