करेण वामेन जघान लीलया तं कालनेमिं ह्यसुरं महाबलम् । तेनैव शूलेन समाहतोऽसौ मूर्च्छान्वितोऽसौ सहसा पपात
kareṇa vāmena jaghāna līlayā taṃ kālanemiṃ hyasuraṃ mahābalam | tenaiva śūlena samāhato'sau mūrcchānvito'sau sahasā papāta
De sa main gauche, en se jouant, il frappa ce puissant asura Kalanemi. Alors, frappé par ce même trident, il tomba aussitôt, vaincu par l'évanouissement.
