यौगपद्येन तैः सर्वैः क्षीराब्धेर्मंथनं कृतम् । सिद्धिर्जाता हि देवानामसिद्धिरसुरान्प्रति

yaugapadyena taiḥ sarvaiḥ kṣīrābdhermaṃthanaṃ kṛtam | siddhirjātā hi devānāmasiddhirasurānprati

Alors tous, d’un même élan et en parfaite unité, barattèrent l’Océan de Lait. Le succès advint aux Devas, tandis qu’aux Asuras ne revint que l’échec.
