तस्माद्यूयं वेदपराः सर्वे देवपरायणाः । ब्रुवंतु त्वरितेनैव आदौ केषां ददाम्यहम् । अमृतं हि महाभागा बलिमुख्या वदंतु भोः
tasmādyūyaṃ vedaparāḥ sarve devaparāyaṇāḥ | bruvaṃtu tvaritenaiva ādau keṣāṃ dadāmyaham | amṛtaṃ hi mahābhāgā balimukhyā vadaṃtu bhoḥ
«Ainsi, puisque vous êtes tous voués au Veda et tournés vers les dieux, parlez sans tarder : à qui donnerai-je d’abord le nectar ? Ô bienheureux, que les chefs, Bali en tête, le proclament !»
