« Qu’il en soit ainsi, ô les plus éminents des Asuras, s’il demeure en vous quelque intention de bon augure. Quand viendra demain, achevez le jeûne selon le rite du pāraṇa, et que votre joie soit dans l’adoration qui accompagne le vœu sacré. »
Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), deduced from Māheśvarakhaṇḍa narrative style
Tirtha: Kedāra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Asura-śreṣṭhas (foremost Asuras)
Scene: Śiva instructs the foremost Asuras: keep auspicious intent, complete the fast tomorrow with pāraṇa, and delight in vowed worship.
Even those of harsh nature are urged toward śubhecchā (good intent): complete vows properly (pāraṇa) and cultivate joy in worship, aligning conduct with dharma.
The context is the Kedārakhaṇḍa of the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, centered on Kedāra/Kedāranātha and its sacred geography, though this verse itself emphasizes vrata-practice rather than naming a specific tirtha.
Perform pāraṇa—formally concluding the fast on the next day—and maintain devotion to vrata along with arcana (ritual worship).
