इत्यब्रुवंस्तदा दैत्यास्तूष्णींभूतास्तदा स्थिताः । शक्रादयो लोकपाला विष्णुं सर्वेश्वरेश्वरम् । ब्रह्माणं च पुरस्कृत्य इदमूचुः समेधिता

ityabruvaṃstadā daityāstūṣṇīṃbhūtāstadā sthitāḥ | śakrādayo lokapālā viṣṇuṃ sarveśvareśvaram | brahmāṇaṃ ca puraskṛtya idamūcuḥ samedhitā

Quand les Daityas eurent ainsi parlé, ils se turent et demeurèrent immobiles. Alors Indra et les autres gardiens des mondes, plaçant Brahmā en tête et s’adressant à Viṣṇu, Seigneur des seigneurs de tout, dirent ces paroles, l’esprit recueilli et ferme.
