अस्य तीरे द्विजं चैकं मृष्टान्नैर्यश्च तर्पयेत् । तेन श्रद्धासहायेन कोटिर्भवति तर्पिता
asya tīre dvijaṃ caikaṃ mṛṣṭānnairyaśca tarpayet | tena śraddhāsahāyena koṭirbhavati tarpitā
Quiconque, sur cette rive sacrée, rassasie ne fût-ce qu’un seul brāhmaṇa de mets choisis—soutenu par la foi—obtient un fruit comme s’il en avait rassasié un koṭi (un crore).

Faith-filled charity at a tīrtha multiplies merit far beyond the apparent scale of the act.
Koṭitīrtha—its bank is said to multiply the fruits of feeding.
