बाल उवाच । व्यक्तं तैस्तमसा दत्तं दानं पूर्वेषु जन्मसु । रजसा पूजितः शंभुस्तत्प्राप्तं स्वकृतं च तैः
bāla uvāca | vyaktaṃ taistamasā dattaṃ dānaṃ pūrveṣu janmasu | rajasā pūjitaḥ śaṃbhustatprāptaṃ svakṛtaṃ ca taiḥ
Bāla dit : Il est manifeste que, dans des naissances antérieures, ils ont fait l’aumône même sous l’influence du tamas ; et qu’ils ont vénéré Śambhu sous l’influence du rajas. Ainsi ont-ils obtenu le fruit de leurs propres actes.
