Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 152

आसनं कल्पयेत्तस्य कुर्यात्पादाभिवंदनम् । नोदक्छिराः स्वपेज्जातु न च प्रत्यक्छिरा बुधः

āsanaṃ kalpayettasya kuryātpādābhivaṃdanam | nodakchirāḥ svapejjātu na ca pratyakchirā budhaḥ

Qu’on lui prépare un siège (au guru) et qu’on se prosterne à ses pieds. Le sage ne doit jamais dormir la tête tournée vers le nord, ni la tête tournée vers l’ouest.
