साधुवाप्यथवाऽसाधु प्रमाणं नः श्रुतिः परा । एवमुक्ते स च नरः प्रहसन्दक्षिणेन च

sādhuvāpyathavā'sādhu pramāṇaṃ naḥ śrutiḥ parā | evamukte sa ca naraḥ prahasandakṣiṇena ca

Que cela paraisse convenable ou non, pour nous l’autorité suprême est la Śruti, la Révélation sacrée. À ces mots, cet homme éclata de rire, tout en faisant un geste de la main droite.
