आचारैश्चापि धर्मैश्च न कार्यं मम किंचन । तस्माद्वक्ष्यामि नाप्येतन्न चाप्यस्मि समाचरे
ācāraiścāpi dharmaiśca na kāryaṃ mama kiṃcana | tasmādvakṣyāmi nāpyetanna cāpyasmi samācare
«Quant aux usages et aux devoirs du dharma, je n’ai rien à y faire. Aussi le dis-je sans détour : je ne possède pas ces qualités, et je ne pratique pas non plus la conduite juste.»
