जगच्च क्षुब्धमत्यर्थं स्वां प्रतिज्ञां पुरा कृताम् । पश्चिमां प्रतिलंबंतं भास्करं चापि लोहितम्
jagacca kṣubdhamatyarthaṃ svāṃ pratijñāṃ purā kṛtām | paścimāṃ pratilaṃbaṃtaṃ bhāskaraṃ cāpi lohitam
Et le monde fut violemment ébranlé ; (il vit) le vœu qu’il avait jadis formulé, et le Soleil aussi, rougi, suspendu bas vers l’occident.
