तपसा ब्रह्मचर्येण क्लेशेन क्षेत्रसाधनैः । यैरहं तोषितः पृथ्व्यां त एते मनुजोत्तमाः

tapasā brahmacaryeṇa kleśena kṣetrasādhanaiḥ | yairahaṃ toṣitaḥ pṛthvyāṃ ta ete manujottamāḥ

Par l’austérité, par la discipline du brahmacarya, par les épreuves et par les pratiques accomplies dans les lieux saints—ceux qui m’ont satisfait sur la terre : ce sont eux, en vérité, les meilleurs des hommes.
