देवो देवीं समालोक्य सलज्जां हिमशैलजाम् । न तृप्यति न चाह्लादत्सा च देवां वृषध्वजम्
devo devīṃ samālokya salajjāṃ himaśailajām | na tṛpyati na cāhlādatsā ca devāṃ vṛṣadhvajam
Le Seigneur, contemplant la Déesse—fille de l’Himālaya, pudique de timidité—n’était jamais rassasié, toujours ravi; et elle aussi se réjouissait en voyant le Dieu, celui dont l’étendard porte le Taureau.
