दुर्लभं प्राप्य मानुष्यं गिरिराजगृहेऽधुना । भोगांश्च दुर्लभान्देवि त्यक्त्वा किं क्लिश्यते वपुः
durlabhaṃ prāpya mānuṣyaṃ girirājagṛhe'dhunā | bhogāṃśca durlabhāndevi tyaktvā kiṃ kliśyate vapuḥ
«Ayant obtenu la rare condition humaine et demeurant à présent dans la demeure du Seigneur des Montagnes, ô Déesse, pourquoi tourmenter ton corps, renonçant même à des jouissances si difficiles à obtenir ?»
