न जातोऽभवद्भार्या पतिश्चेति वर्तते च भवो हि सः । न स जातो महादेवो भूतभव्यभवोद्भवः
na jāto'bhavadbhāryā patiśceti vartate ca bhavo hi saḥ | na sa jāto mahādevo bhūtabhavyabhavodbhavaḥ
«Il n’est pas “né” au sens ordinaire, et pourtant on parle de “mari” et d’“épouse”, car il est Bhava (Śiva). Ce Mahādeva n’est pas né : de lui procèdent le passé, l’avenir et tout devenir.»
