मुंचामुं पुत्र याचंतं किमनेन प्रयोजनम् । अवमानो वधः प्रोक्तो वीरसंभावितस्य च
muṃcāmuṃ putra yācaṃtaṃ kimanena prayojanam | avamāno vadhaḥ prokto vīrasaṃbhāvitasya ca
«Relâche-le, mon fils : il implore. À quoi bon cela ? Pour celui qu’on tient pour un héros, l’humiliation est dite équivalente à la mort.»
