तन्मे गृहगतस्याद्य यथातिथ्यकरो भवान् । तदादिश यथाऽपारपारदः कोपि मे गुरुः
tanme gṛhagatasyādya yathātithyakaro bhavān | tadādiśa yathā'pārapāradaḥ kopi me guruḥ
«Puisque tu es venu aujourd’hui dans ma demeure et m’as honoré comme un hôte, instruis-moi à présent, afin qu’un guru, quel qu’il soit, me fasse traverser l’océan sans rive du saṃsāra.»
