तिस्रः कोट्योऽर्धकोटी च संति तीर्थानि कन्यके । दिवि भुव्यंतरिक्षे च पावनान्युत्तरोत्तरम्
tisraḥ koṭyo'rdhakoṭī ca saṃti tīrthāni kanyake | divi bhuvyaṃtarikṣe ca pāvanānyuttarottaram
Ô jeune fille, il existe trois crores et un demi-crore de tīrtha sacrés : au ciel, sur la terre et dans la région intermédiaire ; chacun, de plus en plus, purifie davantage que le précédent.
