Disant : «Que Viśveśa soit satisfait», il s’en alla comme il était venu. Pourtant ce brāhmane, bien que voué au mépris par d’autres brāhmanes, continua d’y demeurer (à Kāśī).
Narrator (contextual, within Skanda-to-Agastya frame)
Tirtha: Viśveśvara in Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim/devotee departs after uttering a concise benediction to Viśveśvara; the remaining brāhmaṇa stands in Kāśī, enduring scorn from other brāhmaṇas yet choosing to stay.
Pleasing Viśveśa is the highest aim in Kāśī; steadfast dharma may invite criticism, yet remains spiritually superior.
Kāśī (Vārāṇasī), where the ideal refrain is ‘May Viśveśa be pleased,’ and residence itself is spiritually charged.
A devotional utterance (bhakti-vākya)—‘Viśveśaḥ prīyatām’—is modeled as the concluding intention behind actions.
