तया च प्रेरितोऽपेयं पपौ चापि विमोहितः । अभक्ष्यभक्षणरुचिरभून्मदनमोहितः
tayā ca prerito'peyaṃ papau cāpi vimohitaḥ | abhakṣyabhakṣaṇarucirabhūnmadanamohitaḥ
Poussé par elle, il but ce qui ne devait pas être bu; et, dans son égarement, il le but même au grand jour. Troublé par le désir, il prit goût à manger ce qui est défendu.
