दक्ष उवाच । ब्राह्मणोसि दधीचे त्वं किं करोमि तवात्र वै । दीक्षामहमहो प्राप्तः कर्तुं नायाति किंचन
dakṣa uvāca | brāhmaṇosi dadhīce tvaṃ kiṃ karomi tavātra vai | dīkṣāmahamaho prāptaḥ kartuṃ nāyāti kiṃcana
Dakṣa dit : « Dadhīci, tu es un brāhmane ; que puis-je te faire ici ? Hélas, j’ai reçu la dīkṣā (consécration) ; à présent, rien d’autre ne m’est permis de faire. »
