Śiva
Tirtha: Kedāra (nāma as tīrtha)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A householder at evening twilight sits near a lamp, hands in añjali or holding mālā, softly chanting ‘Kedāra’ thrice; in vision, Kedāra peak and the Kedāreśa shrine appear above the flame.
The divine name carries the tīrtha’s power; sincere remembrance can confer pilgrimage-like merit.
Kedāra is glorified through its name, presented as spiritually potent even from afar.
Evening japa: chant ‘Kedāra’ three times (trir-uccāraṇa).
