श्रुतिभिः परिपठ्येते सिताऽसित सरिद्वरे । तत्राप्लुतां गाह्यमृतं भवंतीति विनिश्चितम्

Transliteration

śrutibhiḥ paripaṭhyete sitā'sita saridvare | tatrāplutāṃ gāhyamṛtaṃ bhavaṃtīti viniścitam

Translation

Les Śrutis elles-mêmes célèbrent les rivières excellentes comme «la Blanche» et «la Sombre». Il est établi avec certitude que ceux qui s’y baignent goûtent l’immortalité d’ambroisie.
