Transliteration

upopaviśya pakṣīṃdrastasya yaṃtrasya nirbhayaḥ | kṣaṇaṃ vicārayāmāsa kimatra karavāṇyaho

Translation

Alors le roi des oiseaux, sans crainte, s’assit près de cet engin et réfléchit un instant : «Hélas ! que puis-je faire ici ?»
