गरुड उवाच । मत्स्यादिनां वसन्मध्ये कथं ज्ञेयो द्विजो मया अभक्ष्यो यस्त्वया प्रोक्तस्तच्चिह्नं किं चनात्थ मे
garuḍa uvāca | matsyādināṃ vasanmadhye kathaṃ jñeyo dvijo mayā abhakṣyo yastvayā proktastaccihnaṃ kiṃ canāttha me
Garuḍa dit : «Vivant au milieu des pêcheurs et des gens de ce genre, comment puis-je reconnaître un dvija ? Dis-moi un signe par lequel on puisse connaître celui que tu as déclaré “à ne pas manger”.»
