अयि पश्य वरारोहे किमेतत्समुपस्थितम् । क्व तत्कार्यं क्व च वयं मुनिमार्गानुसारिणः
ayi paśya varārohe kimetatsamupasthitam | kva tatkāryaṃ kva ca vayaṃ munimārgānusāriṇaḥ
«Ô toi aux hanches gracieuses, regarde : qu’est-ce donc qui s’est présenté ainsi ? Où est cette affaire, et où sommes-nous, nous qui suivons la voie des sages ?»
