स्वाधीनोपि न तत्तेन वृतेनापि हि किं भवेत् । इति संचिंतयंती सा रूपौदार्यगुणान्विता

svādhīnopi na tattena vṛtenāpi hi kiṃ bhavet | iti saṃciṃtayaṃtī sā rūpaudāryaguṇānvitā

«Même s’il se montrait docile, que gagnerait-on d’un tel homme, fût-il choisi ?» Ainsi méditait-elle, elle qui était pourvue de beauté, de générosité et de vertus.
