नारीणां भर्तृपद् योरर्चनं तद्वचःश्रुतिः । समर्चयंति सततमनुजा निजमग्रजम्

nārīṇāṃ bhartṛpad yorarcanaṃ tadvacaḥśrutiḥ | samarcayaṃti satatamanujā nijamagrajam

Pour les femmes, il est déclaré comme dharma de vénérer les pieds de l’époux et d’écouter avec attention ses paroles. De même, les cadets honorent sans cesse leur aîné.
