Type: kshetra
Scene: A quiet Kāśī household threshold: a woman stands composed, not crossing the doorway line, hands folded; inside, household stores and a small shrine are visible, suggesting restraint and trust.
Self-restraint and fidelity in household conduct—acting with modesty and not giving away resources without proper consent.
The broader Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) sacred setting frames these dharma-instructions, even when a specific tīrtha is not named in the verse.
A dharmic rule regarding dāna (giving): she should not give anything away unless it has been given/authorized by the husband.
