नांघ्री प्रतापयेदग्नौ न वस्त्वशुचि निक्षिपेत् । प्राणिहिंसां न कुर्वीत नाश्नीयात्संध्ययोर्द्वयोः
nāṃghrī pratāpayedagnau na vastvaśuci nikṣipet | prāṇihiṃsāṃ na kurvīta nāśnīyātsaṃdhyayordvayoḥ
Qu’on ne réchauffe pas ses pieds au feu, et qu’on ne dépose aucun objet en un lieu impur. Qu’on ne fasse pas violence aux êtres vivants, et qu’on ne mange pas aux deux sandhyā, à l’aube et au crépuscule.
