सावित्रीपतितैः सार्धं संबंधं न समाचरेत् । ऐणं च रौरवं वास्तं क्रमाच्चर्म द्विजन्मनाम्
sāvitrīpatitaiḥ sārdhaṃ saṃbaṃdhaṃ na samācaret | aiṇaṃ ca rauravaṃ vāstaṃ kramāccarma dvijanmanām
Qu’on ne fréquente pas ceux qui sont tombés de la Sāvitrī, c’est-à-dire ceux qui ont déchu de l’initiation védique. Pour les deux-fois-nés, les peaux prescrites sont, dans l’ordre : peau de cerf, peau de ruru et peau de chèvre.
