Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 21

मधुमांसं प्राणिहिंसां भास्करालोकनांजने । स्त्रियं पर्युषितोच्छिष्टंपरिवादं विवजर्येत्

madhumāṃsaṃ prāṇihiṃsāṃ bhāskarālokanāṃjane | striyaṃ paryuṣitocchiṣṭaṃparivādaṃ vivajaryet

Qu’on évite le miel et la viande, la violence envers les êtres vivants, le fait de fixer le soleil et l’usage du collyre; qu’on évite aussi les liaisons illicites avec les femmes, la nourriture rance ou restée, et la médisance.
