Skanda (to Agastya)
Tirtha: Kāśī (implied comparator against all lokas)
Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: A montage-like vision: Śiva the fierce vow-observer stands/wanders through Satyaloka’s serene radiance, Vaikuṇṭha’s splendor, and Indra’s jeweled city—yet remains marked by the unresolved burden.
Status, realm, or even heaven does not automatically remove grave impurity; steadfast vrata and the right kṣetra matter.
By contrasting many exalted realms, the text implicitly elevates Kāśī as uniquely efficacious.
Vratācaraṇa (observance of vow) is emphasized, though no step-by-step ritual is detailed here.
