प्रासादः कारितः केन जानास्येष ततो वद । अस्य लिंगस्य किं नाम प्रायो जाने न वार्धकात्
prāsādaḥ kāritaḥ kena jānāsyeṣa tato vada | asya liṃgasya kiṃ nāma prāyo jāne na vārdhakāt
«Par qui ce temple a-t-il été édifié ? Si tu le sais, dis-le-moi. Et quel est le nom de ce liṅga ? En vérité je le sais à peine : la vieillesse m’a ôté la mémoire.»
